Scale your production with cutting-edge post-processing systems for 3D printing
Introducing the newest addition to the depowdering range: the PostPro DPX. This system features a compact size and high throughput for immaculate depowdering of parts.
The PostPro DPX is available both as a standalone system and in combination with the PostPro SFX vapor smoothing machine.
OVER
Our technology, serving hundreds of customers worldwide, is the first choice for additive manufacturing at scale.
OVER
Every day, our systems process thousands of parts worldwide, achieving the highest quality surface finish available on the market.
We are the leading manufacturer of post-processing machines for 3D printing. Our product line includes vapor smoothing, depowdering, and surface blasting machines for industrial and prototyping applications. Materials processed with our systems meet the highest standards of quality and finish. Through technology that has been tried and tested with leading printing OEMs, we enhance and elevate parts to perfection.
Parts that are 3D printed typically require post-processing, with methods varying based on the printing technology, material, and specific application requirements. However, many of these post-processing methods are manual, leading to a quality of finished parts that depends heavily on the operator’s skill. This often means that repeatability of results cannot be guaranteed.
To address this, we have developed automated depowdering, surface blasting and vapor smoothing post-processing systems tailored for the additive manufacturing industry. Our systems transform parts from a rough and fragile state to a smooth, strong, and end-use ready condition, enhancing both quality and consistency.
There are three main stages in the post-processing workflow for powder-based 3D printing: depowdering, surface blasting, and vapor smoothing. Our systems are automated, and the processing parameters of each machine can be adjusted to achieve the desired surface finish.
Once printed and removed from the build unit, the parts should be thoroughly depowdered.
Surface roughness of the part can be reduced by employing automated surface blasting.
Following depowdering or surface blasting, vapor smoothing is applied to further smooth and seal the surface.
Vapor smoothing transforms 3D printed parts from rough, porous, and fragile to smooth, sealed, and high-performing end-use-ready products.
Vapor smoothing is a crucial step in 3D printing post-processing, as it significantly enhances the surface quality of 3D printed materials, achieving a finish comparable to injection molding. This process reduces surface roughness, while also sealing the surface and increasing the mechanical properties of your materials. This unlocks new applications and possibilities. Explore our range of vapor smoothing systems today to see how they can elevate your 3D printing projects.
We cater to both high-volume, industrial 3D printing post-processing and prototyping as well as low-volume production. Our range of machines includes the desktop-sized PostPro SFX and extends all the way to the industrial PostPro SF100.
Upon removal from the build unit, parts can be depowdered immediately. They are placed either in a basket or on a conveyor belt for automatic processing. Within ten minutes, the parts are fully depowdered and ready for the next step, surface blasting and vapor smoothing.
We offer a wide range of automatic depowdering units, featuring various basket sizes and conveyor belt capacities. Whether you are printing low or high volumes of parts, we have the right system to fit your 3d printing post-processing workflow.
Surface blasting enhances the quality of a 3D printed part, producing an even and smooth finish that is both aesthetically pleasing and functionally beneficial. This process not only improves the appearance but also contributes to the durability and integrity of the part.
Similar to our depowdering range, our surface blasting systems are designed to accommodate everything from small parts or low series production to high throughput 3D printing.
