Born from University of Sheffield research, AMT was founded in Sheffield, UK, in 2017 and in 2018 made PostPro3D, the first automated vapor smoothing system for powder-bed 3D printed parts, commercially available. Today the PostPro range spans the desktop PostPro SFX and SF2X and the production PostPro SF50 and SF100, with AMT’s own PostPro Pure finishing chemistry. AMT holds the largest patent portfolio in vapor smoothing and the world’s largest installed base of automated vapor smoothing systems, with 900+ PostPro systems in 40 countries.
