Mechanical strength
Vapor smoothing increased tensile strength and elongation at break, improving the durability of the printed components.
Surface quality
Surface roughness fell by up to 71% across different orientations, a high-quality finish without manual work.
Precision
Dimensional variation after post-processing was very low, a maximum change of 0.4%, well within the tolerances expected from standard 3D printing processes.
Watertightness
Average bursting pressure rose by up to 7%, improving watertightness and part longevity.
Test your parts
Send us a part. See it smoothed.
We vapor smooth your own parts and send them back with the results. No cost to evaluate · Parts returned · Typical turnaround 2–3 weeks
