PostPro vapor smoothing works on powder-bed parts from HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF), SLS, SAF and HSS, and on FDM parts on every system: Ultem and Onyx on the desktop SFX and SF2X; Ultem, Onyx, ABS and ASA on the industrial SF50 and SF100.[1,6] ### Which materials can be vapor smoothed? PA12, PA11, TPU, TPE, Polypropylene (PP) with FA9202, FDM materials and, with FA326 on the SF50 and SF100, more than 100 thermoplastics.[4,6] ### Can vapor-smoothed parts be used in contact with food? Food-contact compliance depends on the material, the process and the consumable together. Parts printed in FABULOUS DETECT PA11 and smoothed with FA5802 (Pure) met the extractables limits of US FDA 21 CFR §177.1500 in an accredited independent lab: a result for those parts, not a certification.
