This policy explains what amtechnologies.com stores in your browser, and why. In short: the website sets no cookies of its own, uses no advertising or tracking cookies, and asks your permission before any analytics.

## 01 Your choice

Optional analytics are off until you accept them. You can change your choice at any time; it applies straight away.

With JavaScript off, nothing optional runs on this site, so there is no choice to make.

## 02 What the website stores

The website keeps a few small settings in your browser’s storage (local storage, or session storage for the current tab). Like a cookie, the setting stays on your device; unlike a cookie, it is not sent to our servers with each page.

These remember a choice you made or keep a feature you are using working. They are not used to track you, so they do not need your consent.

## 03 Analytics

No analytics or advertising service is connected to this website today, and no tracking code is loaded.

If you choose _Accept analytics_, the website records events such as which buttons are used in a data layer inside the page, and keeps `amt:first-touch` as described above. Nothing is sent to an analytics provider. If you choose _Reject_, or make no choice, none of this happens. If you reject analytics after accepting, recording stops and `amt:first-touch` is deleted from this browser straight away.

Before we connect an analytics or advertising service, we will add it to this policy, with its cookies.

## 04 Content from other services

- **Videos**: YouTube videos load in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (its “nocookie” domain) when you press play. Until then the page shows a still image. Once a video plays, YouTube may store data in your browser under [Google’s privacy policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).
- **Shop checkout**: When you go to checkout, you continue on Shopify’s checkout pages, which set their own cookies under [Shopify’s privacy policy](https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy). Payment details are never entered on our pages.
- **Forms**: Forms you send go to HubSpot, our CRM platform. This website does not load HubSpot’s tracking code, so HubSpot sets no cookies here.
- **Ask AMT**: The chat assistant sets no cookies. It keeps your conversation in this tab’s session storage (`amt:chat:v1`, listed above) until you close the tab or start a new chat.
- **Fonts and maps**: Fonts are served from this website. Office “Directions” links open Google Maps as a separate page; no map is embedded.

## 05 Other AMT sites

This policy covers amtechnologies.com. The benchmark portal at [benchmarking.amtechnologies.com](https://benchmarking.amtechnologies.com/?utm_source=amtechnologies.com&utm_medium=legal-page&utm_campaign=site-2026&utm_content=cookie-policy-portal) has its own cookie banner (CookieYes) and uses Google Analytics after you consent. The AMT community forum runs on Discourse and sets its own cookies.

## 06 Browser controls

Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes everything listed above. Your browser can also block storage or cookies; parts of the website, such as the shop cart, may then stop remembering your choices. Guides for each browser:
