# How to get help fast: support, orders, quotes and the forum

The forum is the right place for tips, questions about materials and design, and comparing notes with other users. For everything else, here is the fastest route.

## When you contact support, have this ready

- the machine model (SFX, SF2X, SF50 or SF100) and its serial number;
- what happened, and when, in a sentence or two;
- photos of the part, and of any message on the touchscreen;
- the material and printer technology of the parts in the run.

## Why we keep machine faults off the forum

A fault needs someone who can see your machine’s history and talk to you directly. In a public thread, well-meant advice can also be wrong for your machine or unsafe. Our service team will get you running; once it is solved, a short post about what you learned is welcome.
